An idea for my Moonlander Graphic Redesign is a frog hopping. When the frog misses a landing pad he splats in to the water and dies. One background would be a nature scene with a river and trees, the landing pads for it would be rocks or logs in the water. Another would be in a forest (like tree frogs) and the landing pad would be designated branches. The last would be another water related one, possibly a pool or pond. If a pool, the diving board could be a landing area and if a pond lilypads. Instead of 'thrusters' I want to make the frog's legs point in the opposite direction as if it were jumping. Some pictures I might use for inspiration could be:
What I like most: I like that each scene is different rather than a different view of the same area; in the original all three scenes were mountains whereas mine show a variety of settings. I like that the frogs legs move instead of 'thrusters'! I think it adds character to him. I also like the tree scene because it has a background that the others don't yet the frog doesn't die if he hits it.
What could be improved: I think next time I would make the water in both the waterfall scene and pool scene look more realistic by adding more tones. I thought I would like the 'explosion' as the frog turning but it turns out I dont so I would also improve that. In the pool scene the floatie in the water is at a strange angle which makes the surroundings look strange. Finally, I would make the frogs expression change because his face looks flat and unrealistic.
How is the game an improvement upon the original: Like I said before, I like that the scenes change in mine rather than staying the same for all three. Along with that the frog changes which I love! Also, I like that mine has bright colours instead of dull brown ones, but the darks work for the original because of the setting. I think the colours are just right because they arent so bright that they're distracting from playing the game.

Please post picture that show your inspirations as well. Thanks!
